Pit Stop to the Grand Canyon

We went down to the Grand Canyon to see my
brother, Paul. We stopped her so the kids
could get our and stretch their legs. We camped
not to far from here. It was dark when we found
our camp. When we woke up the next we
noticed that we were sleeping with a bunch of cows.

What a FUN weekend

Uncle Robby and Aunt Jennie brought their 4-wheelers down on Saturday. We all had a great time. They only had two minor incedents. Richard was bucked off his wheeler, and Robby rolled his... but does that suprise anyone? Luckily nobody was hurt. And the 4-wheelers weren't damaged. While the dads where off the kids and the mom's hung out in sun all day. We had a Pizza picnic in the backyard, played in the sand, jumped on the trampoline, and of course we went to the Red Barn for ice cream cones.

Santaquin Canyon

Yesterday we went up Sanataquin Canyon to see if we could find some treasures with a metal detector. We had a ton of fun exploring the mountain side. We found some pieces of metal that looked like they could have belonged to an old railway. We also found some old mines. We wanted to go inside the one but we were afraid of what might be living in it now. If you haven't been up Santaquin Canyon you are missing out. It is now my favorite canyon. At the top of it you can turn left to go into Payson Canyon or right to go down Nephi Canyon. The views are amazing. I'll post some pics as soon as we make it to the top again.

I LOVE Conference Weekend

We are really enjoying conference weekend. Yesterday Darron went with his brothers and his dad to the priesthood session. We all met at Jared and Stacy’s house. The moms and the kids enjoyed visiting and playing “Apples to Apples”. Stacy made everyone one some yummy chicken wraps for dinner. When the dads returned we watched some basketball while the kids watched “Alvin and the Chipmunks”.

Today in between sessions I looked outside to see Ashlee and Zachary playing with bubbles. Zachary was blowing them, while Ashlee was catching the bubbles in her net.

The last session is starting now.
