I am so emotional right now. I just cried watching a VISA commercial about a kid that went to the Olympics, pulled a muscle and couldn’t finish the race. His dad ran out and walked the rest of the way with him to the finish line.
Darron has been gone to scout camp for the past couple days. He is gone until Saturday. Zachary keeps telling everyone, “My dad is gone for 4 days and 3 nights.” They both s ask when he is coming home. I’m spoiled having him around all the time. Yesterday we found a snake in the backyard and I had to ask the neighbor if he would dispose of it for us.
We are all getting excited for Travis and Amy and their kids to come out soon. We are on the count down for the 4th of July celebrations.

Girls Camp!
S.W.A.T. (Steadfast With A Testimony)
I only went up one day for girls camp this year because they “strongly discourage” pregnant ladies to go. I can see why too… It is the day after and I am exhausted! I can’t seem to get my day going… and it’s almost 4pm! It was worth going up there though. We were privileged to go to the Heber Valley Camp. It is a brand new camp that has all the amenities… cabins, HOT showers, toilets electricity, and a kitchen. I was so impressed by our girls. Everyone was including everyone. They all worked during our service project, and we got a lot done in a short amount of time. Our project was to spread wood chips on the ground of the amphitheater. I got to be there for testimony night. And it was really neat. Our ward is going through a lot of changes… we just got a new YW presidency a few months ago, our ward just split 2 weeks ago, which means a lot of best friends are getting split away from each other. So there were a lot of tears and a lot of love. I was glad to hear Bria Brown say in her awesome testimony…”The church is true even in my new ward!”
I wish I would have been able to go all 5 days. It seemed like there was a lot of bonding going on. I did get to see a very funny skit via video camera of Erin & Nellie Robbins. (No relation to us, but I would claim them).
We did have a ton of help from ladies in our ward going up. And I am so grateful for all of them including Connie Hansen and Kerri Wood who were in charge of the meals. We only had two leaders that were able to stay the whole time with the girls… Mindy and Kristi did an amazing job up there. Thank You so much for making it an extra special, spiritual, and FUN week for the girls. The girls created lasting memories, which they will always remember throughout their life.
P.S. If any of the girls or leaders have more pictures... PLEASE SHARE!

Canoe Fun!
Right below our house is a lake that fills up in the spring. Last Saturday
we took the kids down to canoe around. We had to explain to the kids that they
have to let us know when they want to move to the other side of the canoe.
Ashlee almost dumped us twice.
I was trying to get a shot of a Yellowheaded Blackbird. But my
batteries were on the fritz and I couldn't zoom in.

Ashlee almost dumped us twice.
This is Ashlee's first time stepping on to a track. It brought back
memeories of my brothers and I building huts down by the railroad tracks below
Quail Hollow where we grew up.

Almost there. The kids carried a paddle. Darron carried the canoe. And I
carried the camera.

Just on the other side of the hill.
Woohoo!

If you look close you can see our house behind Darron....well not quite our
house but you can see our neighborhood.

How about that rain lastnight!
Yesterday Darron worked on getting the trampoline hole filled in around the edges. Next week we plan on laying sod around it. Well this morning we woke up to a backyard pool instead of a trampoline hole! We couldn’t believe how much it rained. I swear it followed us from Georgia! I do love how green everything is around us.

Yippeee!
We have been trying for over a year now and I have almost given up on having another baby.... But it happened! I'm pregnant with number three! I think I am only 6 weeks... Ashlee wants a baby sister, and Zachary wants a brother. My first doctor appointment is on June 24th.
Zachary's 4th Birthday!
Zachary turned 4 years old last week. We had a family party at the park to celebrate the big number 4! Uncle Danny brought some rockets to blast off. The kids had fun swinging on the big swings that rotate around. They soaked in the wading pool with Grandma and Grandad too. Thanks to everyone for coming and supporting Zachary. He looks forward to his birthday all year round.

Ashlee with Ms. Baird
According to Ashlee. Ms. Baird is the smartest person in the world. We really appriciate everything Ms. Baird taught Ashlee this year. I can't believe how well she can read. I'm so glad Ashlee had her as a Kindergarten teacher. It has been a great year. She is officially a first grader now and her new teacher will be Ms. Kunkel. Way to go Ash! I am so proud of you.
Darron's Trip to the Grand Canyon
Darron went down to the Grand Canyon with my Dad. They met my brother, Paul down there and all three hiked down and back. They stayed overnight in the bottom. Darron's knee gave out on him. He said it was a miricle that he made it out. One of the pictures is of Darron soaking his knee in the freezing cold Colorado River.
Tin Foil Dinners and Rolling Down the Hill
We have been enjoying spring and the beginning of summer. These are picutes of us in the backyard doing tin foil dinners. And the kids rolling down the hill in the front yard.
