More Bolder Mountain/ Capital Reef
Bolder Mountain, UT Campig in August
I took these shots our last morning there. The kids were sad to go and so was I.
Kaija and her big fish.
Ashlee cought this in the canoe. She made Darron take her to the shore so she could run all the way back to where I was to get her picture takin.
Look at that monster! Darron almost gave up with Zachary and told him to real it in. But as he was sure enough this one leaped up out of the water to get the bait. Way to Zachary!
This is at Garkane. Everyone caught one pretty quick except for Ashlee. She was getting so frustrated and the sun was starting to go down over the mountain. She was so MAD and thought that the people fishing on the other side of the lake took all the fish out. Finally she casted in and pulled one out.

Happy Fourth of July!!!

Did you know that the Fourth of July is mentioned in the Book of Mormon? Alma 10:6.
This is Amulek talking:
6 Nevertheless, I did harden my heart, for I was called many times and I would not hear; therefore I knew concerning these things, yet I would not know; therefore I went on rebelling against God, in the wickedness of my heart, even until the fourth day of this seventh month, which is in the tenth year of the reign of the judges.
For those of you that don't know who Almulek is... he ends up changing his life and becoming one amazing missionary.
Darron just read that this morning. Funny that the word "rebelling" is in the same verse. We REBELLED against England for our independence.
ANYWAYS...
We had a great fourth. It started at 5am and ended at midnight. We woke up and met Steve, Mickey, Jared, Stacy and Porter at the hot air balloons. Then we met everyone at the parade. After the parade we barbequed and played at thepark for about 6 hours! We came prepared withgood food and water toys. I got to play some tennis and some of us played some sand (ok, gravel) volleyball. Everyone had a good time...
I just want send a shout outto all those military soldiers and their families. I couldn't help to think that while I was enjoying my favorite holiday of the year... there are Americans in other lands keeping thepeace or trying to make peace. I am so grateful for their service and everything they do so we can all have our freedom here.

Happy Birthday Darron!
The kids made him a huge sign that read "Happy B-day Daddy" and hung it on the wall. And I made my first ever birthday cake that was not in a casserole dish. He wasn't expecting his family to be there. But everyone that could show up came Friday afternoon to sing him happy birthday and eat cake and icecream. He had no idea that they were coming.
I can't express how much I love Darron. I married the man that nobody thought existed. He is perfect for me and for my kids. I LOVE that he tries SO hard to do what is right. He keeps us laughing and happy all the time.
